South Christian Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory

Wyoming Wolves Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 2-0 loss to South Christian on Tuesday.
The pitching was strong on both sides. South Christian pitchers struck out five, while Wyoming Wolves Varsity sat down four.
South Christian got on the board in the first inning when Dylan Holton induced #2 to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.
One bright spot for Wyoming Wolves Varsity was a single by #9 in the second inning.
Holton toed the rubber for South Christian. He went six and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out three.
#15 was on the mound for Wyoming Wolves Varsity. He lasted six and a third innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out five. Holton and Caden Berkley entered the game from the bullpen, throwing six and two-thirds innings and one-third of an inning respectively.
Shaun DeWent and Brayden Lee each collected one hit to lead Wyoming Wolves Varsity.
